About Us
The Santa Clara County Single-Payer Health Care Coalition is an all volunteer organization, with a mission to help build the movement for a universal guaranteed single-payer healthcare system or what is commonly known as “Expanded and Improved Medicare for ALL.”
Our focus also includes health justice as we face increasing inequities that people of color in our communities, and low-income people overall, experience in receiving comprehensive and quality health care.
We are grateful to our community and student volunteers, and interns from San José State University, whose consistent commitment and passion for equitable healthcare, for the past 18 years, form the foundation of our work to support single-payer healthcare systems.
Whether through hands-on service, legislative advocacy, administrative support, or innovative ideas, their contribution of time, energy, and expertise have been valuable in advancing our cause and helping those in need.
